Technology is the Academy’s track for the layer running underneath every other domain: the software, networks, databases and models that aviation, aerospace, space operations and engineering systems all depend on. It starts at the mechanism (what a computer is actually doing, how an algorithm actually runs) and builds outward through how software is engineered and shipped, how systems communicate and are secured, how the physical world is sensed and read into that software, and how machine learning models learn from data and the fairness questions that raises once those models start affecting real people. The track begins with Foundation and builds from there.
