Ayrton Senna finally conquered his home Grand Prix at Interlagos in 1991, taking his first Brazilian Grand Prix victory despite a failing gearbox that left him finishing the race in sixth gear. His McLaren MP4/6 paired a high-revving Honda V12 with a lightweight chassis and refined aerodynamics, giving Senna the performance to control the race before mechanical problems turned the final laps into a test of survival. This design captures the machine and moment behind one of his most emotional victories.
