Jeff Gordon won the inaugural Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1994, giving NASCAR its first winner at one of motorsport’s most historic circuits. His No. 24 Chevrolet Lumina had to balance low aerodynamic drag for Indianapolis’ long straights with mechanical grip and braking stability through its relatively flat corners, helping Gordon control much of the race. This design captures the machine and moment that helped launch a new era of NASCAR at Indianapolis.
